I just the most would like realistic penetrations and armor values like it's in AB and some better ability of communicating in team by voice commands like it's in for example Call of Duty, it would be enough for me if these 2 things was in DH. And maybe also good, big tank maps with many covers that tanks would can hide behind some trees, not like on Orel where trees don't give you any cover, and with premeditated loadouts, not like on Orel Redux where are 4 Tigers and 2 Panthers vs T34/76 but like for example only 1 Jagdpanther at all, without any respawn and Tigers and Panthers with for example 3-5 minutes of respawn.

Realistic Penetrations will be in DH, As we have integrated the AB mod into our files.

Not sure if we can do naything about Voice commands, but we will look into it.

For Tank Battles, we have several decent tank maps planned, The One I am working on ATM is the famous Whittman battle at Villers Bocage.

Expect to see and encounter all the aspects of battleing through the Normandy Hedgerows and the streets of the Town itself, This Definatley not a Small map.

There is already in RO some compass in the lower corner. But completely useless, and it could make in this compass some points when someone say something. Then you'll know that someone is saying in for example house on your left that he for example spotted enemy infantry. And that would be great, everybody would be listening to everything, beacuse now this would be very useful and also teamplay would be much better. Also there could be something like in Call of Duty that if someone say something far away from you, then you wouldn't hear this, only there would be showing as a text.

As long as i can ride around on my rocket propelled panzer-horse as a fallschirmjager, pwning those puny Allies by the dozen with my dual wielded Stg44s, i'll love the game....

The compass is entirely useful in that it gives you a compass direction which is, surprise-surprise, its function. DH is going for realism, so getting people lighting up with a location on your compass would be about as realistic and useful as running into combat wearing a frilly white dress and pointing a magic wand at people. i think that there should be, if possible, not even text coming up, only for the actual in game chat like public channel, voice commands should, yes, have a limited hearing distance, but having their location appear on your compass or map is kinda stupid really, you should know where your squad mates are anyway. officers should get a properly drawn map with gridlines and everything, but everyone else should get a map like the OHM for Winter Manor where it's been drawn out by hand as a tactical aid, not a clearcut positioning and targetting system.

Compass in RO is useless beacuse there already is a map. Nobody isn't using that compass. In real everybody knew where is everybody. But here you don't know beacuse team squads are not together and everybody is playing alone (unless it's clanbattle). And this would be for simulate this, that in real everybody knew where is squad leader, anti tank soldiers, sniper etc.
For you points on compass would be unrealistic? And that is showing point on map point after say "need ammo" being MG gunner is realistic????????

I agree with bottcher. the communications in RO are great, work really well to plan and carryout the fight, but they are unrealistic. As for infantry in real life if everybody is banging away with their weapons you probably couldn't hear someone yelling a few feet away, so how can I hear someone asking for ammo on the other side of town? As for tanks the germans all had radios so they could all communicate well, not sure of the range on them but probably longer than any of the maps.

lol, nobody is listening to those voice commands and you saying that are great... no comments.
Bottcher answer the question is it realistic that is showing point on map after saying "need ammo" being MG gunner.

In a way yes and no, no because it wouldn't light up like that, but yes because the squad would know the location of a covering machine gunner, they're all in the same squad after all.

and all the more they knew where come someone is saying need panzerfausts or infantry spotted, ofcourse if soldiers were quite close together but in RO you can see point of need ammo on map even 1000m away from you, is it realistic????????????? All the more should be showing points in this compass to just simulate real communicating which was in war. Currently any commands like infantry spotted, need ammo is completely useless.

You can't have things popping up the map or points on the compass that is completely unrealistic. If the Sl wants to "post" a point of interest while in game he should have to let people know by actually going up to them and relaying it(by pressing G or something, just like giving ammo). Should only be able to communicate verbally with people right around you. Should be able to post points of interest on map for everyone to see before the game begins, not in middle of battle, they didn't have to land warrior system.

Keystone, by communications I mostly mean the mics, yes the voice commands are mostly useless. If people would stay with the mg like they are supposed to or at least check up on him while nearby he wouldn't run out of ammo.

I tihnk it would be cool if you could share your amo with some one who is out of it. Like if you had 5 mags (what ever weapon) and some one has the same weapon as you do and he is out of amo, you could give one or two, so he can defend him self until he gets to an place where he can get some more.

MOTHER but in real they knew where come everyone is saying, in RO if someone will say something 3m from you, you won't know that it's he.

Keystone, ya i know, and i agree with you on the idea of having the persons name come up with the voice command, just as it does with the mics(good idea).
I think the idea of having pointers appear on compass is good, but used only to indicate the direction of a teammate who is using a voice command and is within a certain distance to you. To simulate actually hearing him and knowing what direction the voice came from.

Is it just me or is Keystone kind of ignoring what me and MOTHER are saying? We know RO is unrealistic but it's about as realistic as they could make it without alienating thousands of players. DH is specialist, it's for people who want uber-realism and what MOTHER and I have been suggesting is ways to make the game more realistic, but you're not even reading them properly. I understand you might have bad english skills, but if that's so then just ask us to clarify a point or we're all only going to end up repeating ourselves, getting angry and then someone will end up banned from the forums for a bloody stupid reason.

Till there is possibility to see where MG gunner need ammo and you can see it even if you are 1000m away from him so also should be showing others voice commands !!!! You want realistic so it will be with this, beacuse currently in RO if someone say something behind you, you don't know then that it's he, so this is unrealistic beacuse in real they knew.

In game planes ftw!!
Realism?? Let us respawn every 9 months then..

It's still a game, so forget the realism sometimes and think about gameplay!
